Each week, IPC volunteer tutors meet one-on-one with 3rd-graders at Hayes K-8 to help them build confidence and improve their literacy skills. The spring term runs from January 20 to May 5, and volunteers are needed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. A scripted, easy-to-follow curriculum is provided, and a background in education is not needed to volunteer. The Chiapas mission team is collecting supplies for their upcoming journey, March 21-March 28. During the trip, the team will be working on the construction of a new church as well as doing several programs for the children who live in the local community.

Volunteer with your family or a group to provide evening meals for the women and children staying at First Light. IPC will be providing evening meals April 19-25.
