Current Service Opportunities at IPC
Discover service and giving opportunities through IPC that make a difference at our church and in our community. All volunteers with Children or Youth must follow the requirements of the Child & Youth Protection Policy.
Each week, IPC volunteer tutors meet one-on-one with 3rd-graders at Hayes K-8 to help them build confidence and improve their literacy skills. The spring term runs from January 20 to May 5, and volunteers are needed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. A scripted, easy-to-follow curriculum is provided, and a background in education is not needed to volunteer. Please reach out to Marion Dukes, Director of the Children's Fresh Air Farm, if you are interested in learning more or signing up.
The Chiapas mission team is collecting supplies for their upcoming journey, March 21-March 28. During the trip, the team will be working on the construction of a new church as well as doing several programs for the children who live in the local community.
