This summer, help Community Ministries stock our food pantry to share with our friends and neighbors this summer. We love the convenience of purchasing food and hygiene items online from Amazon, Walmart, Sam's Club, etc. and having them shipped directly to us (IPC Community Ministries, 3100 Highland Ave S, 35205). This is a great solution, especially if you're out of town!

Join us for a week of service and adventure! We’ll travel Sunday, June 8 after church and return Saturday, June 14. During this trip, we will work with the PDA and WNC to do some light construction work in the Canton area, helping to rebuild and restore homes affected by Hurricane Helene. We’ll be staying in a couple of homes on Cataloochee Mountain. We will also be traveling together by bus, allowing for fellowship and connection along the way. The cost for the trip is $200, which will help cover travel and other expenses. Afternoons include hikes and waterfall visits, plus morning and evening worship. This trip is a wonderful service opportunity for anyone 14 and older. If you have questions, contact Rev. Seamon.

Extended deadline: If you are ready to join us, complete our interest form by April 25.

We need volunteers to assist in transporting our #5 Plastics to Community on the Rise! Our box has been overwhelmed with plastics lately, and we need your help to keep this opportunity going! SUVs and trucks are recommended for transportation of the super sack due to its size. The #5s drop-off times at Community on the Rise are Mondays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Community on the Rise is located at 112 14th St. N, next to Church of the Reconciler.

Volunteers are needed to deliver Meals on Wheels in the Kingston neighborhood, where a significant part of our local community outreach is focused. Volunteers work in pairs delivering meals on the same day every other week. Meals are picked up at United Way on Clairmont Ave. Clear directions to each recipient's home is provided, and the total time from picking up the meals to completion of the delivery route (9-11) stops) is about one hour. Interested volunteers should sign up directly with Meals on Wheels.
